Affiliate Disclosure

This page explains how Vipleague Sports makes money, in plain terms, because you are entitled to know and because a disclosure nobody reads is not much of a disclosure.

How it works

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and go on to sign up for a service, we may receive a commission from that provider. It costs you nothing — you pay the same price you would have paid by going to the service directly.

Commercial links on this site are marked in two ways. Visually, they appear as buttons rather than plain text links. In the page markup, they carry rel="nofollow sponsored", which is the standard machine-readable signal that a link is commercial. Search engines read that attribute; so can you, if you inspect the page.

What an affiliate link does not mean

This is the part that matters, and it is where most disclosure pages get vague. Being specific is more useful than being reassuring, so:

A service we have no commercial relationship with gets no clickable button on this site. It gets a plain informational link to its official website. That is deliberate: a comparison that only shows you the options we can monetise is not a comparison.

Why we list free options at all

This deserves an answer, because it is a fair question. If we earn from subscriptions, why would we tell you that you can watch the World Cup free on a public broadcaster?

Because a guide that only tells you the paid answer is not useful, and a guide nobody trusts is worth nothing. The free options are the reason people search in the first place. If we hid them, you would find them elsewhere and not come back here for anything else.

Questions

If you want to know whether a specific link on this site is commercial, or you think a commercial relationship has influenced something we published, please contact us. That is a legitimate question and we will answer it directly.
